BIBLE BOOTCAMP

Teaches the fundamental truths surrounding methods of ministry. This class deals with the practical aspects of Bible work and soul winning. 

HERMENEUTICS 

Covers the principles of proper Biblical interpretation and the steps needed for effective Bible study and exegesis. 

APOLOGETICS

Teaches the common arguments against God, how to rightfully answer the questions regarding suffering, evil, and the existence of God. 

BIBLE DOCTRINES

Examines the basic fundamental beliefs of the Christian faith through an in-depth study of the Bible. This includes dealing with hard-to-understand biblical texts, concepts and their apparent contradictions. 

CHRISTOLOGY & SOTERIOLOGY

Systematically studies the most important doctrines of Christianity and their bearing on our salvation. 

CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

Examines what it really means to reflect the image of God. Through an in-depth study of the Spirit of Prophecy, this class highlights what it really means to be a Christian in an un-Christlike world. 

PERSONAL SPIRITUALITY

Covers the process of character development through righteousness by faith, the greatest work given to humanity, and its practical implications in the individual life. 

ETHICS AND WORLDVIEW

Reviews the philosophical and theological framework of secularists and the evangelistic methods to reach different world-views with the gospel.

HOMILETICS

Helps develop the art of communicating the gospel through various forms. Homiletics is the sure way to improve the ability to do worship talks and deliver sermons that cover a wide range of biblical topics. 

EDUCATION 

Reviews what the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy teaches about “the harmonious development of the physical, the mental, and the spiritual powers.”- Education pg. 13 

LEADERSHIP 

Examines the biblical principles and styles governing leadership, and the proper application of these principles in our current world. 

FIELD SCHOOL 

Highlights the core of the Seventh-day Adventist movement as it relates to leadership, discipleship, evangelism.

SMALL GROUP MINISTRY 

Interns, Scholars and Residents will be called upon to serve in a leadership role within a small group. The goal of this training to encourage a study of Scripture among peers.  

EVANGELISM 

Every Marine is a basic a rifleman, so every pastor is a basic soul-winner. This module is designed to test the evangelistic abilities of the Resident. 

CHURCH LEADERSHIP 

This class is specifically designed for Residents as it covers in a practical sense the role of the pastor as the shepherd of the church. Since he must provide leadership to the congregation. Pastoral leadership is different from corporate leadership. 

CANVASSING

Interns, Scholars and Residents are encouraged to engage in the work of Literature Evangelism. The work of canvassing offers a special kind of training that cannot be obtained otherwise. Students may purchase books at cost to sell on their own time or use available books to sell as a means of gaining contacts through health canvassing.

CAMPUS VISITATION 

Efforts will also be made to visit Adventist students on campus. The goal is to encourage more active participation in campus ministry activities and to maintain a strong relationship with students and leaders.

SABBATH AFTERNOON OUTREACH

All interns and residents will be encouraged to lead others in visitations, prayer ministry, Bible study, and church outreach programs. Other activities may be possible, including children’s ministry. Outreach time should be followed by a brief sundown worship service at the CAMPUS House or at the church.
