CAMPUS welcomes Andy Im as Associate Director replacing Sebastien Braxton who will be moving on to further his studies at Andrews University. Andy and his wife Laura come to us from California where Andy was part of the Religion Faculty at Weimar College. Laura will be working as the Director of the Michigan Conference Human Resources Department. Andy is Director of Graduate and Young Professional Ministry.
Andy has a rich ministry background and experience in public campus ministry. He is a graduate of the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill (Political Science) and has served as a pastor in New Jersey, Hawaii, and Michigan. He is one of the pioneers of student Magabook ministry, canvassing and leading student groups in more than 15 states.
In 2007, after completing his graduate studies specializing in systematic theology, Andy joined Weimar College to head the Religion Department where he served as a college Bible teacher for nearly seven years. The courses he taught included: World Religions, Ethics, Contemporary Issues In Theology, and others.
Andy’s greatest interests are theology & current events, cooking, mountain biking, and traveling.
